With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to add some decor and something a little special to our bedroom. I don’t usually decorate for small holidays but this year I wanted to decorate since our master bedroom’s major makeover was just completed. I have seen these gorgeous pillows from high end retailers, but refused to pay the price. So, I created my own!
This craft project was super simple and the best part is using items in the house you already have! I created a little video with all the details and you can check out the tutorial and supply list below.

DIY I LOVE YOU PILLOW SUPPLIES:
- pillow cover, I used the back of an old pillow cover
- fabric pen or Sharpie
- ruler or t-square, if needed
- pillow insert, I used an old decorative pillow
I had all my supplies around the house, so this project was super easy and quick. Using the marker and your own handwriting, write the words “i love you” over and over again. If you are worried about it being straight, use a ruler or t-square to help. Also, don’t worry about your handwriting or cursive being perfect! Once, the pillow is in the cover any of those imperfections are hardly noticeable. 🙂
