Target Thursday

Spring Fever

My very first Target Thursday post! If you follow me on Instagram or know me personally, you might have figured out my obsession with Target. I’ve decided to create a weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) post to share all my great finds. I’ve realized I can’t buy every item I fall in love with because I just don’t have the space or the money. So sharing it with you all is the next best thing!

It’s only January but I already have Spring fever with all these new items! I hardly ever buy anything full price (I usually just keep my eye on it and wait for that little red sticker) but I could not resist the large galvanized two tier plant stand. I’ve been looking for a tiered stand for our master bath for awhile. As soon as I saw this I just knew it’d be perfect for towels and bathroom accessories.

I did use some silver metallic craft paint to dry brush the handles and tone down the gold. I loved the gold, but there is no other gold items in our bathroom. I love how the gold still peeks through just a bit. This tiered tray is so versatile, it could be used in almost every room of the house. In the kitchen for dishes or a coffee station, in the laundry room for soaps and a container full of clothespins, in the craft room for bottles of acrylic paints, or even in the family room for photo albums and books.

While I was shopping I also checked out the garden section and all it’s new seasonal items. Most of these items are displayed for outdoor use, but I’d use them all inside of the house too. This clock is fabulous. I might just find a place for it when it goes on sale!

Metal olive buckets are all the rage right now and I see them everywhere. It’s still winter so I see it filled with wood and placed next to a fireplace. In the spring and summer months, it can be filled with flowers and plants. It would also look cute next to the sofa or a side chair full of blankets and throw pillows.

Large garden orbs would look great on a shelf or side table. Update: I’ll be using this to create a DIY orb chandelier for our master bathroom with some chain and a candle. Stay tuned!

Galvanized watering can filled with fresh flowers is perfect for Spring. Filled with white tulips, it would look perfect in the kitchen, dining room, or on a mantel or shelf.

Nautical inspired candle lanterns would make a great tablescape grouped together on dining table or a coffee table. A collection of them would look amazing in a bathroom with candles and flowers.

Speaking of tablescapes, look at this tray! Reminds me of a dough bowl. I’ll be finding a spot for one of these too. So many great pieces for Spring at Target. What were some of your favorites? Any you’ll be picking up?
